Career

Ignacio González Fernández is a Partner at Abdón Pedrajas Littler, where he has developed his professional career since 2009, providing ongoing labor and employment advice to national and multinational companies.

He regularly advises clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters across a wide range of industries, including banking, insurance, energy, retail, tourism, services, media, and new technologies. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing the employment aspects of business transfers and transfers of business units, restructuring processes, collective dismissals, collective bargaining negotiations, substantial modification of working conditions, temporary layoff procedures (ERTE), collective disputes, and individual employment proceedings.

Throughout his career, he has represented clients in numerous judicial proceedings before all levels of the labor courts, including the National Court and the Spanish Supreme Court. He also provides strategic advice on complex labor relations matters and workforce restructuring processes.

He holds a Law Degree in European Community Law and Labor Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Labor Legal Advisory from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He also participates in academic collaboration programs as a tutor for university internship placements.
