Career
Jesús Lahera Forteza has been an Academic Consultant at Abdón Pedrajas Littler since 2013. He holds a PhD in Law and is a Full Professor of Labor and Social Security Law at Complutense University of Madrid. He also teaches in the Master’s Program in Labor Legal Advisory at the Garrigues Study Center.
As a consultant for the firm, he is responsible for internal and external training through labor classrooms, seminars, and bulletins updating jurisprudence and legislation. He also advises the firm on highly complex legal matters.
He is author or co-author of 10 monographs, has coordinated 6 collective works, and has contributed to more than 60 collective books. He regularly collaborates with media such as Cinco Días and occasionally El País. His research focuses on temporary employment and labor precariousness, dismissals, collective rights and collective bargaining, sources of labor regulation, employer liability in workplace accidents, and European flexicurity.
