Career

Miguel Arberas is a practicing lawyer and Partner at Abdón Pedrajas Littler, where he has worked as a labor lawyer since 2003. He began his training at a local labor law firm in Bilbao and completed a Master’s Degree in Labor Legal Advisory at the Garrigues Study Center, where he was awarded the Aranzadi Prize.

He regularly advises national and international companies on contentious and non-contentious matters, including business or unit transfers, collective dismissals, collective bargaining, substantial modifications of working conditions, collective agreement derogations, and advisory services for senior executives and professional athletes. He has led hundreds of judicial proceedings at all levels, including the National Court and the Supreme Court.

He combines his professional practice with teaching as an Associate Professor in the Department of Private, Social, and Economic Law (Labor and Social Security Law) at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and as a collaborating professor at the Garrigues Study Center. He also regularly participates in seminars, courses, and specialized forums, including the Madrid Bar Association, Foro Aranzadi del Deporte, Complutense University of Madrid, and CUNEF.
